A lot of emotionalism from me as the story progressed and I'm still not sure I'm over the trauma of how the author broke me emotionally regarding how things played out. It is a read that many authors would not have attempted because of subject matter. The title of the book, Collateral Damage is appropriate. She must free him before that happens.

Nicole and Vince's emotional bond is deep and multi-facted as he teaches her ways to cope with the enviorment in which she is captive within.
